This is the very lightweight original oil cooler that I received with my firewall forward kit from Van's. The oil cooler is in perfect working condition, and it has 85 hours on it. It did not provide quite enough cooling capacity for my 200hp IO-360, predictably (20:20 hindsight), but it should work fine on an O-360 or O-320. I have no idea why Van's ships these for the 200hp IO-360 on the RV-7, but on the RV-8 FWF kit it ships a larger cooler. Anyway, my mistake...but you can profit from it. 8-)
Spruce sells it for $168, Van's charges $165 for it, and I'm asking $130. That includes shipping to anywhere in the continental US.
The oil cooler is in perfect condition with the exception of two modifications I had to make...I cut away the corner of the flange as per the FWF plans. The cut is clean. I also enlarged the outer bolt holes slightly to match up with the bolt pattern on Van's oil cooler mounting plate (baffle kit). Hopefully these modifications will help you, not hurt you!
